Jam Jar is a new Brighton-based theatre company, founded by Polly Waldron. It is rooted in telling good stories with a connection to local projects and communities.
Polly has worked twice with Complicite, and some of that way of devising has stuck.
Rosie and the Badly Kept Secret is their current project for Brighton Fringe 2020. It is a children’s play that explores how a family deals with their mother’s cancer diagnosis. The project is supported by the Pebble Trust and the Macmillan Horizon Centre in Brighton and hopes to open up a conversation about how we talk to children about critical illness.
